I have been to Tomorrowland

Last year, many people would probably not have a clue about this magic place. Now, the reaction is more like: "no way, you really have been there?" Everyone is jealous, everyone would like to be a part of it, but not everyone can, only the 180,000 lucky ones. Thank to my amazing friend, which managed to purchase the tickets online after waiting for 40 mins, I was one of them. Tickets were about 200 EUR, but considering the programme you would probably be willing to pay even more.
Sunday, David Guetta, following by Steve Aoki
Hot guys, everywhere (these are made in Holland)
This is not kind of festival we all know, this is the best and biggest international crowd in the world. After releasing the Tomorrowland Official After Movie 2012, after one month almost 20 mil. views. Wow, people are curious about this event, which is becoming bigger and bigger. Sometimes I have this feeling of having the best time of my life. I dont have it that often. But there are times, I feel soo happy, loved, chilled, I feel butterflies in my stomach and I am enjoying every minute and I wish the time would never end. Exactly this feeling gives you tomorrowland.

After having little accident with my Mercedes C (blondie is driving an expansive car and crashes in totally straight street in the city centre and manages to destroy both tires on the right side of the car) we arrived to DreamVillage and went to see Avici, Fatboy Slim, lovely swedish girls Rebecca and Fiona and Carl Cox. It was impossible to see all the big names, better way is just walk around and stop at the stage you like and dont care about time. Every stage has a different atmosphere everytime you pass by, but each of them has its own specific design and magic name.
The Start-Up, nothing is better than a glass of wine for breakfast
Atmosphere. If i should consider what is best about Tomorrowland, it would be the atmosphere which is created by the people. Everyone, but really everyone is nice and friendly. People are helping each other, I havent seen any fights, anyone argueing, anyone who would behave rude or arogant. Everyone just came to have a great time. Everyone is willing to share his/her drink, food, coffe, cigarets or weed. You can start to talk to anyone you want, there are no differencies between people here, they are all  equal and cool. Another thing, no judgments, you are free to do anything what doesnt border the crowd.
Internationality. Already in DreamVillage you can see different flags hanging on the tants and than people proudly carrying them on their shoulders, or having different accessories and clothes in national colours. I think this is especially important bringing people from different continents, different countries, which have different mentalities, religions, ideals and backgrounds, together.
Made in Sweden and TLV hotties
Style. The biggest difference between festivals in eastern Europe and those like Tomorrowland or others in western world. Not only girls, but also guys take it like a fashion event, show your personality via the stuff you are waring. Comfortable, but stylish and sexy. Jeans shorts are the must, sexy tops, lot of accessories, comfortable shoes, rain jacket and rainboots in case of rain.

Germany, I´m gonna miss you

Some of my favourites
The time has come and after one amazing year, I had to say bye to my german experience in Mainz. Im gonna miss many things, whatever other people say, i had the best time and Germany is so far my fav country to work and live in. You can enjoy quite a nice lifestyle without spending much money. Perfect infrastructure, public transportation, people willing to help you, affordable services or many cultural and social activities everywhere and anytime are just some of the german advantages, which make the life here actually easy.
My student apartment and big mirror in my bathroom
Home made brunch: Pretzels, Bratwursts, Eggs, Butter, Strawberries, Orangensaft and Coffe ...
Great shopping opportunitites. Besides the common shops like ZARA, Mango, H&M, Esprit etc., in Frankfurt you can find also Primark, Urban Outfiters or Hollister, for those with higher quality requirements there are fashion houses like Peek & Cloppenburg and others, where one can found limited pieces from different brands. The most fancy street Goethestrasse, is like a little 5th avanue, if weather allows, you can sit in one of these coffes and observe stylish business people. Affordable brunching, dining, "wining" and clubbing. Im gonna miss Aperol Spritz in Aposto, fresh pasta in Vapiano, steaks in Maredo, Coffe with bagel in Starbucks, Sven Väth in Cocoon, Afterwork parties in Living, Coctails in Roomers, Champagne Showers in Starclub and Kebab at 5am for 3,50. Im gonna miss Bratwurst, fresh Pretzels, Kinder Chocolate, Duplo, Haribo Gold-Bären, Alnatura shops with this tasty almond tofu and much more.

Baby went to Amsterdam ...

Queensday. There is not a better time in the year when you can visit Holland, especially Amsterdam. Queensday happens allways the 30th of April and usually the whole weekend before the city is full of people, full of parties. Me and my friends decided to go to see this craziness and also celebrate here our bdays. We left FFM and arrived early on Friday, got us to our hostel, which may wasnt very luxurious, but had a perfect central location. The weather was unpleasant and to deal with not enough sleep from the previous days, we just found some nice place with „all inclusive breakfast“ in the city centre and chilled there for couple of hours. What to do in any city when its raining? Galeries, Museums. Amsterdam has lots to offer, besides traditional art galleries with famous names like Rembrandt or Van Gogh, there are also the less traditional like museum of sex, Marihuana Mueum, Heineken Museum and so on. We chose the first untraditional one, the museum of Sex but only because it was very close and we were tired from the trip. After the weather got better we were exploring the city and soon we were familiar with most of the parts of Amsterdam.

sunday afternoon

Primark - the lowcost shopping

First after a couple of months I discovered that there is Primark in FFM. So far I only knew it from London. Last time I went to London I made my boyfriend to stop by almost everyday. Yes, I liked it so much. True, the shopping here is not an easy task and not everyone can handle it here. Even I sometimes got mad and crazy. Too many people, no order, unfriendly staff which doesnt know anything, long queues to get to the cash desks and even longer to the get into a fitting room. What more, people are walking around with full bags and threating all the clothes and shoes with such an unrespect.
Some things I found, mostly accessories, but also some cute underwear, tops and sweatpants.

First Summer Catches

Sales are like an addiction to me. Unfortunately this time I have been so busy with my university and all the exams and there was no time to get in to the city. Even though I knew the shops are already full of tags and posters with the headlines SALE. This was such a punishment for me, knowing that there is something you desperately wanna see and you know you gotta get there as soon as possible in order to catch some good stuff, but you cant.
Oh yeah, we all have to study, sometimes.
I really tried hard to spare some time and even though I still had some assignments to do and I should be studying for my french exam I had to have at least a quick look to ZARA and HM. But for this season I set a budget as I didnt want to buy many things which after couple of weeks wont be that fashionable anymore. Especially now when I have so many things in my head i have to get for the winter/fall season.
First Catches: HM, Zara and Mango.

Platform VS Wedge Sneakers

Wedges Sneakers: Top Shop, Asos and one amazing piece from Marc Jacobs
Wedges sneakers or platforms ??? I say both !!!!
I should probably stop getting rid of things I don't like anymore and just keep all of them. Its not that long time ago, I guess around 1998, maybe at  the 7th grade, when we all were obsessed with platforms. We also loved Spice Girls and Britney Spears, yes there is a connection. I can not believe that they are back.

headdresses

I am probably late with this original accessory, as it already appeared in Vogue in 2010, but after last season, there is a huge comeback of feathers. We can see it everywhere, rings, earrings, belts, headbands, necklaces, handbags or shoes (my favourite for this summer are from Buffalo). The best way how to shine: wear headdresses. Yeah, its little bit controversal, but everyone will notice you. Not very easy to find them but there is a perfect website for this kind of accessories: http://www.loveheadmistress.com/, others can be found at Urban Outfitters, Asos or Zara.

The Big Pony Fragrance Collection

Ralph Lauren made a really good marketing move, after they lunched these 4 fragrances, there is now, at least here in Germany, "Big Pony Fragrance Collection Madness". In most of the parfume stores you get a pony bag as a gift if you purchase one fragrances from this line. This is not only a pretty good deal, as the 100 ml fragrance is about 60 EUR, but the bags are just adorable. Fragrances are amazing too. My biggest favourits are the Pink and the Violet Ponies. It was a huge dilema to choose between those two. The pink one is very fruity, very summer, very fun. The violet is more oriental and stylish. The other 2 are to me too sporty.  Finally i went for the number 2 Big Pink Pony, probably because it just feels like summer.

Just being cool ... in Germany

It is not my first time, that I am spending longer time in Germany. To me it´s a very nice place to live, people are nice, they like to keep the distance and it takes some time to become a part of their lives, but they are not fake. They are hard working, very disciplined, they like their rules and they would never argue about them. They have it all, most of them. They are driving expensive cars, going out, shopping, travelling. They have a strong economy, enough jobs for graduates, all kinds of internships and also strong state´s support for those who weren´t lucky to find a satisfying job. Most of the young people speak perfectly english, some of them spent some time abroad, mainly in Australia or Asia. But sometimes the way how they think is just incomprehensible. Its probably associated with their love in bureaucracy. Why would you make something more complicated than it really is? Thats just one of cultural differencies which everyone would face coming over here for longer time. But with all these resources, I was really wondering why are they not living it up. Everything has to go according to the plan. Spontaneous? Never heard of it. They would never sacrifice a bit of their comfort to enjoy the life a bit more. And that´s a little bit sad.

How will I benefit?
